Wildflower Training Weekend will be April 8-10, 2011. Please mark your calendars now!
GGTC’s Wildflower Training Weekend is a great way to preview the Wildflower course and have fun with your fellow club members. I will be sending out more details on how to register for the weekend in the coming weeks. In the mean time, here are a few quick things you should know.
Wildflower Training Weekend – Quick Tips:
- Training weekend is hosted at Lake San Antonio. We stay in cabins at the lake, near the swim start. You can also choose to camp. We train on the actual Wildflower course.
- We encourage you to come down Friday afternoon. We’ll help organize carpools.
- Our coached training officially kicks off Saturday morning. We swim and bike on Saturday. We run on Sunday.
- We feed you dinner on Saturday!
- We’ve added in a few new fun/social activities for Saturday afternoon!
- You will be asked to register for the weekend and there are lodging costs associated. Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis.
